Lying ~ Necessity or Not?

We all lie.
There's no point in trying to cover up that fact.
So now I have a question that a website may offer some insight on:
Could you go 10 weeks without lying?

Spacing Out ~ Memory Boost!?

Here's something new I learned today, and it's a good thing to hear because it tells me that: Spacing out for a bit can boost your memory! (considering i am constantly spacing out, this news seems pretty nice)

Good Neighbor Festival Parade

Good Neighbor Festival Parade is today and I don't know what's going to actually happen because it has been raining all morning and I don't think people are going to want to pick up candy from puddles or be cheering and running through the soaked streets...

Friends Change - Pregnant & Rude

Sometimes friends change. Recently one of mine did. She came to the town I live in as an awkward, shy, and friendly girl that's weirdness soon had her close to my other friends and I. When we reached high school, though, she changed - and not for the better. Soon she became the class flirt and then that's when things really started to go downhill. She slept around, deserted her friends because her boyfriends seemed more important to her, she said some things that are unforgivably horrible, and now she's pregnant. She wanted to get pregnant, too, because she didn't want her boyfriend to be able to leave her. (she has abandonment issues) Now she has just him, the 14 week-old fetus inside of her, and whatever family will stick with them after what they have done. After almost half a year of talk, she finally got what she wanted. Now she won't be graduating high school, she will be a teenage mother, and she still needs to get a job. After today, though, I will no longer worry about her. This was her choice, she could have done so much better, and now although I wish nothing bad on her - I don't want her in my life ever again.
This is the last thing I sent her, this says all I have left to say to her, and now I am done.

Dear Sudden Down-Pour of Rain,

I would like some warning next time before you unleash that much rain.
Thanks to you, my little black kitten is half-soaked, there was some water
that got inside the house and more in the shed. So in other words, start with
a slight rain, then become steady, and THEN pour. In that order next time,
please, not in the reverse order like you just did.

Sincerely,
An Unhappily Wet Person

iPod - The Shuffle Questions Game

Okay, so I got bored and remembered a game my cousin introduced me to. It's called the "iPod Shuffle Game" as far as I know and it's sometimes really creepy because of how the answers to the questions match up perfectly to your life. For those of you who don't know the game - it's easy. Get a music player or listen to the radio or go to your liked and/or favorited videos on YouTube. Whatever you choose, all that matters is that you have music and you need to know the names of the songs. Now, find a list of questions, or make on up like I did below. Now follow these instructions if you are using a music player:

Shuffle game rules:
~Put your music player on shuffle.
~Press forward for each question.
~Use the song title as the answer to each question.
~Cheating optional

Summer Summary

Summer is flying by. It's been mostly just work and sleep, but I have had some really amazing days with my friends, too. Now that I am starting to force myself out of my shell, going places isn't as strange to imagine. I used to never go places with my friends because I felt weird if I had to drive or they did. If a parent drove, however, it was like my childhood was coming back to me and I was perfectly happy going all over.
This summer I have taken my friends to the mall, hung out with friends at the fair, and even gone horseback riding. Apparently I am a natural at riding horses, so I am catching on fast and will soon be ready for prolonged galloping. (Galloping is no problem, but my body's not used to it yet and it complains) Well, I hope these last few weeks of summer will prove interesting and eventful.
However, a recent tragedy may have made riding a no for the rest of the summer and I will be pretty upset if I can't ride at the place I have been riding at ever again. I am emotionally attached to those horses and my friend that's taking me is so attached that I don't even want to know how devastated and destroyed she would be if they banned her from coming back.
Please, summer, allow the last few weeks to be promising and happy with no more downfalls or injuries.
